Some of the painting process, taken on 28th February. I missed a couple of weeks due to ill health and so missed most of the prep work for the paint finish. By the stage which can seen in these pictures, Ben and Jonny had scraped, sanded, filled with putty and applied two undercoats
We sanded both dinghies to key the surface for the top coats and I helped apply one coat to the smaller boat. After that I felt too tired to do much more, but as always Ben was highly sympathetic to the fact that I have M.E.
The last picture shows Ben and Jonny in the dust free environment which they had rigged out of scrap wood and polythene dust sheets suspended from some of the roof beams.
